This is the sixth iteration of Motorola’s highly-successful G series, and features three phones, the G6, the G6 Plus and the G6 Play. The Plus variant may not be made available in India, but the G6 with its 5.7-inch, 18:9 FHD+ display looks like quite an attractive option. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 450 chipset and features a dual-camera setup at the rear consisting of a 12MP snapper and a 5MP secondary unit.
The Moto G6 Play on the other hand, is a relatively cheaper device which sports a plastic exterior as opposed to the glass casing of the G6. It also has an 18:9 display which measures 5.7-inches diagonally, but its resolution is only 1,440 x 720 pixels. Another exclusion is that of dual cameras at the rear, as the phone offers a single 13MP primary shooter. But the main draw of the Moto G6 Play is its 4,000mAh battery, which promises up to 36 hours of usage.
The smartphone features a tall 5.99-inch display with a resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. Another highlight is its 12MP + 5MP dual-camera array at the back, and a 16MP front snapper for high-resolution selfies. The Snapdragon 625 chipset can be found inside it along with 3 or 4GB of RAM. The smartphone is set to launch on June 7th.
We’re hopeful that June is the month that will end the wait for this smartphone. This handset will be a strong contender in the mid-range segment. The notch-toting 6.2-incher boasts AI attributes that not only detect several scenarios but also learn from the photos you click. It comes with a pair of snappers at the rear, comprising a 12-megapixel primary camera and an 8MP wide-angle camera.
It’s got a 6.1-inch display that offers a resolution of 3,120 x 1,440 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It indeed bears a notch up top, but you can easily turn it into a black bar. At the back, the phone comes with dual 16MP cameras that offer a wide-angle mode just like LG’s previous flagships. On the front of this device rests an 8MP selfie camera with a wide f/1.9 aperture.
If there’s a phone that can spin HTC’s fortunes, it’s the HTC U12+. The phone brings in a lot of innovative features such as a translucent back, pressure sensitive buttons and Edge Sense 2.0 which also supports gestures along with the ability to squeeze to trigger certain actions. The smartphone is also a powerhouse, as it comes equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB of RAM. The phone’s window to the world is a 6-inch edge-to-edge panel with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,440 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating.
